THE BUSINESS
Westray Recruitment Group is seeking a Welder/Fabricator for our client based in Newton Aycliffe. The organisation employs 25 staff and has a £3m turnover.
The business specialises in bespoke fabrications. This is a temp to perm opportunity following a successful probation period.
You will form a team of 6 Welder/Fabricators in total. The business has a guaranteed order book for the next 18 months and the business can provide job security due to its diverse client range.
THE ROLE
* MIG welding
* Sheet metal work up to 5mm
* Bespoke tanks & vessel welding and fabrication
* Quality checking work
* Fillet & Butt welds
THE PERSON
* Sheet metal and MIG welding experience
* High degree of accuracy & detail
* Able to read and work from drawings
* Overhead crane experience
* FLT experience
