Overview
Sir Robert McAlpine has secured a prestigious contract to construct a state-of-the-art Battery Manufacturing Facility. The initial phase includes design and construction of a new 15GWh lithium-ion battery facility, ancillary buildings, and site-wide external works.
The Onboarding Manager role
A member of the project team reporting to the Senior Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager, you will be responsible for the organisation, coordination and delivery of all site inductions for subcontractors, staff and visitors. An important aspect of the inductions is to evidence compliance with SRMs health & safety regulations and company procedures. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Comprehensive and interactive site inductions.
* Compliance with statutory and company procedures, including health & safety and environmental standards.
* Engagement with all project team members to ensure organisational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety.
* Managing and directing the induction process, including planning and scheduling inductions.
* Ensuring the induction status is up to date with project requirements.
Your profile
* Experience in managing site inductions and ensuring compliance is beneficial but not essential.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple stakeholders.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in delivering presentations to groups.
* Work experience within the construction industry is beneficial but not essential.
