Offer description

Kent County Council is seeking a highly organised and proactive Stakeholder Liaison Officer to support the delivery of the Grow in Kent service, bringing together Visit Kent and Invest Kent to drive economic growth across the county.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in engaging businesses, investors and partners across Kent and Medway, supporting both the visitor economy and inward investment priorities.

Role Description

You will provide essential coordination and delivery support across Grow in Kent's partnership programme, acting as a key day‑to‑day contact for businesses and stakeholders. You will help manage partner relationships, support onboarding and renewals, and ensure accurate financial and programme tracking.

You will also play a leading role in organising events, industry engagement activities and investor visits, helping to showcase Kent as a leading destination for business and tourism.

Alongside this, you will gather insight from businesses and partners, supporting the development of strategies by identifying opportunities, challenges and risks across key sectors.

You will contribute to communications and marketing activity, supporting both B2B engagement with partners and B2C promotion of Kent's offer across digital platforms and campaigns.

Working as part of the wider Grow in Kent team, you will act as a point of contact for enquiries from businesses, investors and the travel trade, while also supporting a range of administrative and coordination activities to ensure the smooth running of the service.

We are looking for someone with experience in economic development, inward investment or the visitor economy, with a strong track record of working with partners across the public and/or private sector.

You will be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines. You will be confident building networks, engaging stakeholders and supporting the delivery of events and campaigns.

A good understanding of Kent and Medway's economy, alongside commercial awareness and an interest in growth and place promotion, will be important for success in this role.

Work that works for you and us - let's talk flexibility!

KCC is committed to building a workforce which reflects the diversity of the county's working residents, encouraging applications from people of all ages, abilities, genders, sexual orientations, ethnic backgrounds, faiths and those with caring responsibilities, and aspires to create an inclusive workplace where everyone can be themselves at work.

Please note - if you are interested, please apply soon as possible as the closing date for this advert may be earlier than stated should a number of suitably qualified candidates apply.
