About the Role
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday).
Shift Pattern: Two-shift rotation (weekly) Early Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm, Late Shift: 12:00pm – 8:00pm. No weekends.
FLT counterbalance essential.
70% FLT + material movement, 30% production support. Training provided.

We are recruiting an FLT / Production Operative (Manufacturing) to join our hands-on manufacturing team. This role plays a key part in supporting production flow, material handling, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping across the site.
You will work within a supportive team environment where teamwork, safety, and pride in doing things properly come first. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work and wants to build long-term skills in manufacturing.
Key responsibilities
Material Handling
* Transport and prepare wire for production requirements.
* Safely operate cranes & FLT’s for handling and relocating materials. Crane training provided.
* Perform manual finishing tasks using hand power tools.
Machine Operation
* Operate bending & profiling machinery to shape materials as required.
Production & Quality
* Conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished products.
* Support manual production processes when required.
* Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Housekeeping & Safety
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with 5S methodology and company standards.
* Operate machinery, tools, and equipment safely, in compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Promptly report hazards, defects, or equipment issues.
Development Objectives
* Build knowledge of raw materials, production flows and materials handling techniques.
* Consistently perform quality checks and maintain high housekeeping standards.
* Progress towards greater responsibility within manufacturing operations.
About you
