The Setting
A specialist paediatric therapy centre in the heart of London, where Ayres Sensory Integration (ASI) is central to the clinical identity. The clinic specialises in helping children and young people aged 6 months to 25 years with physical, developmental, social communication, and other specific difficulties engage in meaningful occupations. The Clinic Director is an internationally recognised Sensory Integration trainer and practitioner.
Key Responsibilities
* Autonomously manage a caseload of children with a range of neurodevelopmental and physical needs, achieving therapy goals established during assessments
* Conduct high-quality assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions grounded in sensory integration principles
* Produce clear, well-structured reports for EHCP, tribunal, and clinical purposes
* Deliver home and school recommendations and implement interventions to support children across various environments
* Communicate therapy plans and progress effectively to parents and professionals
* Conduct online therapy sessions for clients unable to attend in person
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team including Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists, Educators, and Administrative Staff
* Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in line with HCPC standards
* Adhere to safeguarding, confidentiality, and data protection standards at all times
What We're Looking For
* A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC registration
* Previous experience in paediatric occupational therapy — newly qualified therapists with a strong paediatric placement history are encouraged to apply
* A certificate in sensory integration is desirable; a commitment to pursuing formal ASI qualification is welcomed
* Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship may be available)
