Senior Pharmacy Assistant (Band 3) – Transport Services
These roles will be key members of the Pharmacy technical services team, manufacturing and delivering life‑saving chemotherapy treatments and other medicines to patients at the Royal Cornwall NHS Hospital.
A comprehensive training programme is in place to support all roles. Working in our specialist facility you will be part of a dedicated team preparing vital medicines for our patients.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation and delivery of injectable medicines such as chemotherapy, radiopharmaceuticals, intravenous nutrition and other life‑saving therapies.
* Support the preparation and delivery of other medicines in the service lines including chemotherapy, radiopharmacy, aseptic and non‑sterile manufacturing.
* On‑call duties, weekend and bank holiday working on rotation as required.
Training and Development
Each role comes with a specific training plan and can be offered as a developmental role where appropriate.
