Job Description We have an exciting contract opportunity for you to join our Quality team in Merthyr Tydfil as a QA Engineer. This position is to support Ajax at Merthyr for a period of up to 18 months depending upon start date. You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Dealing with quality defects on the shop floor products, this will include liaising with the Operations, Engineering and Manufacturing teams to understand the issue and help to resolve it by: Containing the problem to stop it getting any worse. Quarantining the defective part such that it can't be used. Resolving the issue with the defective part to either rework it or replace it. Liaising with the wider team to ensure effective communication. The role will also include undertaken visual inspection activities on the product.
