Information Technology Recruitment Consultant
Unique opportunity to join a leading IT MSP who have been delivering on national security infrastructure projects with the UK MOD for over 50 years. A new position has opened for talented network engineers with skills in Cisco and/or Juniper and VMWare to join an existing busy team.
What you’ll do
* Support and manage network infrastructure projects for a leading IT MSP working on national security infrastructure.
* Work with Cisco and/or Juniper technologies; VMware experience is desirable, with potential re-training in Juniper if needed.
* Use network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds or similar) and act as an escalation point for 1st and 2nd line engineers.
* Participate in shift work (37 hours per week): 7am-3pm or 11am-7pm; no on-call responsibility.
* Understand and comply with high-level security clearance checks; candidates must be willing and eligible.
What you’ll need
* Experience with Juniper (switches, routers) is a plus; Cisco experience is also desirable if open to re-training in Juniper.
* Experience with VMware, particularly NSX-T, or other virtualization platforms.
* Experience with network monitoring using tools like SolarWinds or similar.
* Ability to serve as an escalation point for 1st and 2nd line engineers.
* Willingness to work in a shift pattern as noted above.
