IT Support Administrator – SC Cleared
Location: Credenhill, Hereford (Onsite – MOD Site)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Contract
Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance required
Rate: £22 per hour (Umbrella -Inside IR35)
We are currently seeking a reliable and process-driven IT Support Administrator to support a major technology refresh project at a secure site in Hereford. This role will involve hands-on device handling, coordination with engineering staff, and accurate system updates throughout the deployment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the setup and preparation of equipment for end-user laptop refreshes, in line with project plans.
* Support the configuration of migration areas and refresh clinics on site.
* Move IT equipment between secure storage and refresh areas as directed by the Site Manager or deployment engineers.
* Log into systems and perform basic tasks under the instruction of the contractor’s engineer or Site Manager.
* Carry out laptop refresh activities following defined procedures.
* Accurately update workflow management systems at each stage of the deployment process.
* Escalate queries or technical issues to the Post-Migration Technical Support Specialist or Site Manager when needed.
* Essential Requirements:
o Active SC Clearance – this is essential due to the nature of the site.
o Previous experience in IT deployments, desktop refresh projects, or similar hands-on IT roles.
o Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to following instructions.
o Confident using workflow systems and basic IT tools.
o Ability to work onsite full-time in a secure environment, maintaining professionalism at all times.
