The role
This hands-on leadership role is for an outstanding Food and Beverage Manager to join our outstanding team. Were looking for someone to oversee the daily operations of The Weir, with the support of the GM, Managing Director and Finance & Operations Manager. The key to this role, is to ensure exceptionally high standards of service throughout the venue, including guest satisfaction, profitability and compliance with brand and legal requirements .
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, develop and motivate the team to deliver top-tier service, maintaining our consistent 5* reviews
Oversee the day to day running of all F&B areas to ensure smooth, efficient service
Evaluate changes in guest needs, recommend appropriate product, service and operational changes as necessary.
Maximise the profitability through effective stock, labour and margin management
Identify and capitalise on sales opportunities across food, beverages and events.
Collaborate with our GM, Head Chef & Head Bartender to ensure consistency and quality.

Is this you?
You will have a proven track record in a high-quality, busy venue
You re a planner, and you meet your deadlines every time
You have strong knowledge of gastropub food, and wines
You are calm and confident under pressure with excellent communication skills
Customer service is you re thing - You love engaging with guests and building relationships
You have commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets and cost controls
You work well both independently and as part of a large team
You have a passionate and inspiring attitude towards customers, and staf f
