Join the RAC as a Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division. You will bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to customers, delivering first‑class service on driveways and office car parks without a traditional garage. The role includes 40‑hour weeks with core hours 8:30‑17:00 and 1 in 4 Saturdays, and you will be equipped with a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, tools and diagnostic kit. Responsibilities
* Deliver vehicle maintenance and diagnostics directly to customers’ premises (driveways, office car parks, etc.).
* Provide first‑class service, communicating effectively with customers and giving advice.
* Manage stock, complete reporting, and maintain accurate customer conversations.
* Make timely, customer‑focused decisions on repairs, replacements, and service recommendations.
* Maintain a high standard of safety and product quality during all work.
Qualifications
* Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
* At least 2 years of hands‑on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
* Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
