You’ll help create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where pupils can explore, collaborate, take risks, and thrive outdoors. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting and championing the school’s OPAL play vision every day. Encouraging positive, imaginative, and inclusive play across all age groups. Supervising children during lunchtime, both indoors and outdoors. Helping to set up, manage, and tidy away play resources and zones. Promoting independence, problem‑solving, and social skills through play. Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils while allowing for healthy risk‑taking. Modelling positive behaviour and supporting children in resolving minor conflicts. Working collaboratively with the wider staff team to continually improve play provision.
