Overview
As a Deputy Unit Manager, you’ll lead on managing operational activities within the unit, supporting a dedicated team to deliver a responsive, person‑centred, 7 day a week Day Care service with an increasing focus upon supporting people with dementia. You’ll play a key role in safeguarding, designing and delivering service provision, and promoting independence and dignity for those accessing our care with drive and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage operational activities within the unit.
* Support the team to deliver a responsive, person‑centred 7‑day‑a‑week Day Care service.
* Safeguard and promote independence and dignity for people with dementia.
* Redesign the Day Opportunities offer to provide flexible, innovative ways of supporting communities.
* Promote continuous improvement and learning within the team.
Qualifications & Skills
* Strong experience in care settings.
* Excellent communication and management skills.
* Commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
* Passion for supporting people with dementia.
