We will work alongside the successful candidate to ensure they are sufficiently inducted and trained; there will be regular constructive supervision in place. It is important to us that you feel safe and supported in the role.
Main duties of the job
* You will be part of the Practice Pharmacy Team with a positive, patient focussed supportive culture which transfers work from GPs.
* You'll undertake medicines reconciliation to patients recently discharged from hospital and ensure the patients medical record is updated accordingly.
* Working with the Practice Pharmacy Team to respond to medication queries including acute medication requests, patient medication queries or any medication related issue triaged by GP practice team to the pharmacy technician appointment list
* You will undertake Econsult (electronic online triage system) administration queries.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our well-established Clinical Practice Pharmacy Team as part of our Primary Care Network, working from our centralised Hub in Haverhill, where most of the clinical workload is triaged with telephone and virtual consultations, with the opportunity to work across other Unity sites including Clements sited in Haverhill, Long Melford and Lavenham.
We are a not-for-profit, community interest company and our main purpose is to support Primary Care across Suffolk, including support with working collaboratively and at scale. We also deliver a portfolio of NHS services across Suffolk and North East Essex, including Podiatry, Ultrasound, Diabetes, as well as Urgent Care Services including the Out of Hours face-to-face Service in Suffolk.
