As an Engagement Lead, you will:
Be responsible for the delivery, development and evaluation of the charity’s hospital-based storytelling programmes
Work closely with storytellers, hospital professionals and families to ensure every child’s experience is meaningful and memorable
Lead the logistics and delivery of the hospital programme
Support and coordinate a team of professional storytellers
Gather and analyse feedback to inform programme development
Manage sensitive case studies and storytelling content
Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
Champion best practice in oracy, storytelling and reading aloud
To be successful as an Engagement Lead, you will be:
Experienced in programme delivery, ideally in health or education settings
Skilled in evaluation, reporting and stakeholder engagement
Compassionate, organised and confident working with sensitive materials
Knowledgeable about safeguarding and consent management
A strong communicator with a passion for storytelling and children’s wellbeing
In return, we are offering an annual salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience. Please note, this is a full-time, permanent position with occasional travel expected.
