Hays Education is on the lookout for dedicated andpassionate SEMH Teaching Assistants to join our team in Rotherham & Surrounding areas. We have immediate placements available, and we wee applications from professionals currently working with other agencies.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Empowering students with SEMH needs to grow academically and personally.
2. Supporting inclusive learning environments alongside experienced educators.
3. Providing tailored one-on-one or small group support.
4. Assisting with classroom management and day-to-day tasks.
What We’re Looking For:
5. Experience working with children with SEMH needs.
6. Experience working within a care background, such as social care, health and social care, nursing etc.
7. A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
8. Strongmunication and collaboration skills.
9. Relevant qualifications or training (a bonus, not a must!).
