Learning Support Assistants for EYFS & KS1 – Eastbourne
Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a difference in their educational journey? We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join our team in Eastbourne for roles starting this September.
Role Overview:
* Location: Eastbourne
* Start Date: September
* Key Stages: EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) & KS1 (Key Stage 1)
The Ideal Candidate:
* Minimum of 1 year experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting
* A passion for supporting young children in their learning and development
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, teachers, and other support staff
* A proactive approach to supporting children’s educational, social, and emotional needs
* An understanding of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum and best practices for early years education
* Location – Eastbourne
* Position – Teaching Assistant/Learning Support assistant
* Type of work – Support
* Contract or position start date – ASAP
* Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing
* Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) – Temp to Perm

Experience, Training and Qualifications
* GCSE’s or equivalent
* Minimum 1 year working with children
* Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child related references
