A forward-thinking, multi-disciplinary construction and real estate consultancy based in London is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. The Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take the commercial lead on a range of high-profile developments, particularly within the data centre sector in the UK and potentially overseas. You will be a key point of contact for clients, oversee cost planning and control, and support junior team members, all while contributing to the company’s commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end cost management for complex, high-value projects
Deliver accurate cost planning, procurement strategies, and tender analysis
Manage post-contract cost reporting and financial forecasting
Administer contracts (JCT/NEC) and manage change control processes
Provide strategic commercial advice to clients from acquisition through delivery
Support business development, bidding, and client retention efforts
Mentor and support junior surveyors within the team
Requirements:
MRICS qualified (or working towards), with 5+ years of post-qualification experience
Proven experience within a UK consultancy environment
Strong working knowledge of data centre, commercial, or industrial sectors
Deep understanding of construction contracts and procurement strategies
Strong client-facing and communication skills
Comfortable working within a multi-disciplinary, global consultancy setting
Willingness to engage on international projects as required
Salary & Benefits:
Up to £85,000 per annum (DOE)
