University Offices, Wellington Square, Oxford, OX1 2JD UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD Undergraduate Admissions and Outreach (UAO) Opportunity Oxford Coordinator Grade 7: £39,424 – £47,779 per annum About Opportunity Oxford Opportunity Oxford is a major University-wide programme supporting selected offer-holders transition from school to university. The programme works with around 600+ offer holder students annually through an online academic course, with 200 also participating in a two-week residential programme in Oxford. The programme develops high-level academic skills and aims to ensure students are well-prepared for their Oxford experience and further studies. The Role As Opportunity Oxford Coordinator, you’ll play a central role in shaping and delivering this transformative programme. Working closely with a small, dedicated team, you’ll lead the planning and delivery of cohort-wide activities, manage budgets, oversee communications, and ensure the smooth running of both online and residential elements. You will also contribute to the development of a coherent University-wide strategy for Opportunity Oxford You’ll be a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including colleges, departments and outreach partners, and will contribute to the strategic development of the programme. You’ll also manage the Opportunity Oxford Offer and Assistant and lead the recruitment and training of student ambassadors. 1. Strong experience in project management, event planning and delivery
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3. A strategic mindset and the ability to manage complex projects
4. A commitment to widening access to higher education, and a strong understanding of the Oxford University context
5. Experience managing budgets and data
6. Experience in line-management or supervision of staff
7. The ability to lead and motivate a team
