Build the Future of Our Platform & Internal Products Forge Holiday Group (Sykes Holiday Cottages, Forest Holidays, Bachcare) is in the middle of a major product and AI transformation, led by our Chief Product Officer, Jule Owen, who joined in 2025. We’re rebuilding our product foundations, reimagining our apps, and using AI to create smarter, faster, more intuitive experiences for millions of guests and thousands of property owners. Here’s The Deal: Salary: £55,000 to £65,000 DOE Hybrid working: 2 days/week at Chester HQ Team: Platform, Data & AI Product - highly collaborative, impact-focused, and supportive Culture: Innovative, pragmatic, and driven by continuous improvement, smart automation, and data-informed decision making About The Product Manager (Platform) Role: High Influence, Core Foundations This is not a feature factory role. This is about treating our backend platform, internal tools, and workflows as products - with clear vision, measurable outcomes, and long-term ambition. As Product Manager, Platform, you’ll own the evolution of the systems and processes that underpin how Forge operates. From finance and operations to people systems and core technical platforms, your mission is to make how we work simpler, smarter, and more scalable. You’ll immerse yourself in how work really gets done, map processes end-to-end, identify friction, and partner with teams to design better ways of working. Why this role matters: Improve operational efficiency and scalability Reduce friction, manual work, and process complexity Enable teams to move faster with better tools and platforms Support our long-term product, data, and AI ambitions Embed continuous improvement into Forge’s DNA If you love untangling complexity, designing better systems, and creating platforms that empower teams, you’ll feel right at home. What You’ll Do: Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our internal platform and systems. Treat backend services, internal tools, and operational platforms as products with clear outcomes. Map and analyse business processes to uncover inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities. Prioritise and deliver platform and workflow improvements that drive measurable business impact. Collaborate closely with the CPO, CTO, architects, operations, finance, people & culture, and transformation teams. Align platform evolution with business strategy, product direction, and technical ambition. Support teams through change, including communication, enablement, and adoption. Use data, insight, and feedback to measure impact and continuously iterate. Balance short-term operational wins with long-term platform strategy. Champion a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement. Who You Are: An experienced Product Manager with strong fundamentals in discovery, prioritisation, and delivery. Comfortable owning complex, cross-functional problem spaces. Experienced in treating internal platforms or systems as products. Confident mapping workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and designing better processes. An excellent communicator who brings clarity, alignment, and momentum. Analytical and outcome-focused, using data to guide decisions. Collaborative, pragmatic, and able to influence without authority. Passionate about building better ways of working through technology and platform thinking.
