What You Will Do
* Engage and work with individuals who have complex and diverse communication profiles.
* Apply your expert knowledge and skills in specialist areas relevant to our paediatric cohort.
* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams while adhering to RCSLT Communication Standards.
* Communicate effectively with families, relatives, and carers, ensuring holistic support.
* Employ various SaLT assessment tools and intervention strategies.
* Formulate tailored support plans based on individual needs.
* Contribute to neurodiversity-awareness and trauma-informed practice.
* Participate in ongoing training to further develop skills relevant to the client group.
Qualifications & Requirements
* HCPC Registration: Must hold valid HCPC registration.
* Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a similar paediatric SEMH setting is essential.
* Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required to travel between work sites.
* Professional Knowledge: Strong understanding of SaLT assessment tools, intervention strategies, neurodiversity, and trauma-informed practice.
