Calex is a specialist training and consultancy organization partnered with several leading automotive manufacturers. We are currently seeking to recruit a Business Administration Apprentice to join our Apprenticeship Programme team in Slough.
The successful candidate will play a key role within the Apprentice Programme team, contributing to the programme administration, supporting the delivery of our apprenticeship programmes and the achievement of departmental objectives and overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide an administration support function for the Apprenticeship Funding Manager and wider team
* Support the day-to-day delivery of apprenticeship data, compliance, and reporting requirements
* Assist with programme administration, reception cover, and invigilation
* General administrative support responsibilities as required
Compliance and Data Administration
* Support with compliance checks of learner enrolments on BUD
* Assist with the accurate input, updating and management of apprenticeship data on the Apprenticeship Service (AS), including creating cohorts, adding apprentices, and linking to employers
* Collate and produce reports for management and funding purposes
* Work closely with the Apprenticeship Funding Manager and wider team to deliver effective administration support
Audits and Quality
* Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits
* Provide support in resolving issues identified during compliance checks
Operational Support
* Assist with exam invigilation where required
* Support with reception cover, including greeting visitors and responding to queries
About You
* Be able to communicate effectively at all levels with learners, programme staff, programme management and academy staff
* Ability to work accurately with data and follow processes
* Good organisational and time management skills

* Ability to use Microsoft Office and other software to perform job role effectively
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* GCSE grade 4 or above in Maths and English (Essential)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday / 40 hours per week

Pre-employment Checks: Calex will undertake the relevant/standard employment checks with any successful candidate.
