* Working hours: Monday to Thursday - 06:00 to 14:00, Friday - 06:00 to 11:00
What You'll Be Doing
* Diagnose and repair faults across a wide range of manufacturing equipment.
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and capital projects.
* Work on mechanical tasks including turning, milling, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and uphold health & safety standards.
* Collaborate with production teams to optimise machine performance.
What We're Looking For
1. Engineering qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
2. Time-served engineer with 10+ years' experience post-apprenticeship.
3. Strong mechanical background; experience in high-speed manufacturing (FMCG or automotive preferred).
4. Knowledge of steel packaging machinery and some knowledge of electrical maintenance (PLC fault finding) is advantageous.
