Service Engineer - Fire & Security Systems
As a Service Engineer at Trinity, you will be providing maintenance and servicing of our clients Fire and Security systems. Working within a defined region of the United Kingdom, you will have the opportunity to obtain certifications in industry leading systems including Gent and earn through our engineering commission scheme!
The role of Service Engineer
You will be working as part of a skilled team of Service Engineer’s and will be supported by our wider support departments to provide high quality service and customer experience.
Carry out all other necessary works required at customer premises in accordance with the Company’s quality standards.
Liaise with service administrators and other internal stakeholders to ensure our service commitments are met.
Work to a planned service and maintenance schedule, emergency call out requirements. Issue remedial repairs and minor additions to existing installations in line with service administration guidance.
Fire - Gent, Notifier, Advanced
CCTV - HikVision, Avigilon, Dahua

Experience in servicing and maintaining fire, security, CCTV and access control systems to relevant British Standards.
Ability to identify all types of cable associated with fire detection and security systems, and to correctly test and terminate the cable ends in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions.
To always provide outstanding customer service.
Understand the basic building services to test cause and effect of fire alarm interfaces.
A comprehensive understanding of the causes and cures of fire, intruder, CCTV and access control problems, including an ability to recommend changes to practices and processes that may cause false alarms as well as recommending changes to the systems.
Basic Electrical Safety training (ECA).
Manufacturers training with a minimum requirement of Notifier and Gent equipment in respect of servicing.
