A global manufacturer of complex capital equipment is seeking an experienced Buyer to join its supply chain function. The business designs and manufactures highly engineered products for demanding global markets and forms part of a large, well-established international industrial group.
This role will focus on managing routine and strategic suppliers, controlling lead times and ensuring continuity of supply in line with operational and commercial objectives.
The Role
As Buyer, you will be responsible for day-to-day purchasing activity across a defined supplier base. Youll work closely with planning, engineering and operations teams to ensure materials are available to support production schedules, while also driving continuous improvement across supplier performance, cost and delivery.
