This role is within a unit where Surrey Police and Sussex Police work in collaboration, whilst remaining two separate legal entities/employers with different terms and conditions.
Both Surrey Police staff and Sussex Police staff are employed in this unit on their own force terms and conditions.
Successful candidates may be appointed on the terms and conditions of employment of either Surrey Police or Sussex Police, depending on organisational requirements. A discussion will be held with the successful candidate to confirm the details of location, salary, allowances and hours.

The Role & Key Responsibilities
The Quality & Compliance (Q&C) Data Administrator role is responsible for a wide variety of data and system administration, enabling the Q&C team to report key management information to Estates & Facilities senior management team and stakeholders including both Police & Crime Commissioners in Surrey & Sussex.
The successful applicant should be able to work at our office in Lewes, East Sussex twice a week. Following a successful trial period there is the opportunity for agile working across Surrey & Sussex with meetings held via Microsoft Teams.
Hours are flexible, Monday-Friday - core hours 8am - 4pm.
The Role's And Responsibilities Include
Extraction and analysis of data, sourced from a number of systems.
Quality checking existing datasets.
Preparing an array of datasets pre-publication.
Logging E&F incidents, service desk, training, risk register and other Health & Safety compliance datasets.
Publication of departmental policies and procedures in our Quality Management System.
Publication of internal bulletins
Distribution and tracking of departmental Freedom of Information requests
Whilst the team work collaboratively, Surrey & Sussex, the role is subject to Sussex Police terms and conditions, which include pay grade.
Skills & Experience
The successful applicant should have experience of and an interest in learning new systems and software; Microsoft Excel, Visio, Adobe Creative Suite applications.
Good experience of manipulating datasets in Microsoft Excel pivot tables whilst working to tight deadlines with a strong attention to detail. Good technical problem solving and ability to work independently when required.
Further Beneficiary Experience Would Include
Microsoft 365 applications - their uses and applications to replace existing (Q&C) team processes.
Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems and/or a Quality Management System (QMS).
