We are currently seeking Senior Project Managers with experience in the Energy sector to join us in any of our offices across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of projects across various technical disciplines with clients across the country. These projects can include energy from waste, solar, interconnectors, wind farms, substations, OHL, energy building design, protection systems, LVAC, pump stations, etc.

You will join a growing and collaborative team, working in partnership with a variety of clients to deliver innovative and sustainable projects addressing industry-wide efficiency and environmental challenges. This is an opportunity for you to play an important part in the UK energy transition.
As a Project or Senior Project Manager, you will work closely with our multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects throughout the project lifecycle. You will build close relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. You will proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring project success, and manage project budgets and resources effectively.
You will manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout, while leading high-performing project teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring clear communication.
About You
You should ideally be qualified with a degree in a relevant field, and APMP qualifications would be advantageous. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) is required.
You should have some previous experience in project management within the energy/engineering consultancy sector, with experience in project setup and financial monitoring processes, including coordinating with Project Managers for proposals, change orders, status reports, financial updates, and forecasting. Experience working with NEC contracts is essential.
This role involves working closely with teams of PMs, so strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary, along with excellent computer skills. You should enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and multi-team environment.
You should demonstrate attention to detail, initiative in problem detection and resolution, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively between multiple project managers.
