We are a leading UK manufacturer and installer of architectural flat glass rooflights, supplying architects, contractors and developers across the construction sector.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a driven Internal Sales Executive to join our team at our St Neots head office.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities and converting quotations into orders within a fast-paced sales environment.
The position also offers genuine long-term potential to develop into a wider internal/external sales role.
You will play an important role in growing existing accounts, generating new business opportunities and improving quotation conversion rates.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
* Driving the conversion of quotations into confirmed orders
* Supporting and motivating the wider sales team with technical quotations and customer enquiries
* Developing existing customer accounts by identifying additional project opportunities
* Proactively prospecting new customers and market sectors
* Maintaining and developing a strong sales pipeline
* Managing and growing key internal accounts
* Delivering online CPD presentations to architects and specifiers
* Working closely with the Head of Sales to identify growth opportunities
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a confident and proactive sales professional with strong commercial awareness and excellent relationship-building skills.
Ideal candidates will have:
* Experience in internal sales, account management or business development
* Experience in construction, glazing, building products or specification sales essential.
* Strong telephone sales and relationship management skills
* Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs
* Excellent organisation with the ability to manage multiple opportunities
* Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* A commercial mindset with the ability to identify and convert sales opportunities
* A full UK driving licence
