Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our culinary team in the role of. Duties
* Prepare ingredients and assist in the cooking of a variety of dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
* Support food production processes, including baking, plating, and presentation of meals.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations.
* Follow recipes and portion control guidelines accurately to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying management of supplies needed.
* Contribute to menu development by providing ideas for new dishes or improvements to existing recipes.
* Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to at all times, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
* Support team members during busy periods, fostering a collaborative work environment.
* Be willing to help out in other areas during busy periods
Requirements
* Proven experience in food production, food preparation, or a similar culinary role.
* Knowledge of cooking techniques across various cuisines, with an emphasis on baking and general kitchen skills.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in a professional kitchen setting.
* Previous restaurant or catering experience is highly desirable.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends or evenings if necessary.

* Knowledge of lamination and fermination for pastry and sourdough or willing to learn .
* Level 2 food hygiene
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
