Their venture investment team focuses on identifying and supporting ambitious technology businesses across areas such as enterprise software, deep technology and AI. The team works closely with founders and management teams to help businesses scale responsibly and achieve their growth potential. They are looking to hire a senior investor into the team to focus predominantly on B2B SaaS. What the job involves
This is a broad and commercially focused investment role combining portfolio management responsibilities with new investment activity. Working as part of a collaborative ventures team, the successful individual will engage with both internal stakeholders and portfolio company leadership teams. The role offers exposure to a fast-paced investment environment with significant involvement across the full investment lifecycle.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Supporting due diligence, transaction execution and internal investment approvals
* Identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities within the technology sector
* Supporting and monitoring a portfolio of high-growth technology investments
* Attending portfolio company board meetings as either a director or observer
* Analysing financial and operational performance data, including KPIs and valuations
* Assisting with fundraising processes, investor reporting and portfolio analysis
* Maintaining financial models, cap tables and investment documentation
* Working closely with finance, marketing and investor relations teams to support wider fund activities
Who we are looking for
* Extensive investment experience in venture capital is essential
* Deep UK network is highly advantageous
* Strong financial analysis and modelling capabilities
* Exposure to fast-growth technology, enterprise and software
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
* Confidence operating in board-level environments and engaging with senior stakeholders
* Strong organisational skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
