Working in partnership with the Police, Insurers, and Government, our collective aim is to make it a thing of the past. Until then, we’re here to compensate victims quickly, fairly, and compassionately.
Last year, we helped more than 42,000 people struck by uninsured and hit-and-run drivers and paid over £400 million in compensation to support victims in rebuilding their lives.
We’re looking for a Services Manager to lead the operation and ongoing evolution of the Continuous Insurance Enforcement (CIE) programme, aligning with MIB’s strategy. You will create a roadmap of prioritized, measured, strategic, and tactical changes aligned with DVLA to ensure the service remains secure, relevant, and embedded as a key component supporting MIB's strategic goal to eliminate uninsured driving. You will also work cross-functionally to ensure delivery against targets.
Key Outputs
* Ensure the day-to-day CIE process runs smoothly, working with MIB & DVLA colleagues to resolve issues.
* Develop roadmaps based on MIB strategy to outline development plans for the next 5 years.
* Focus on uninsured driving prevention and data service strategic ambitions, ensuring initiatives are aligned.
* Contribute to business case and benefit case development to secure buy-in and track benefits.
* Lead the creation and development of CIE roadmaps, working with central services teams.
* Coordinate with Business Change and Programme teams to ensure alignment and clarity on dependencies.
* Maintain a clear understanding of current products and services, collaborating on future views for planning.
* Collaborate with Communications teams to promote activities supporting the strategy.
* Act as a conduit between DVLA, business, and IS to stay informed on emerging technologies and trends.
* Oversee the transfer of information between MIB service desk and DVLA operations.
* Create presentation materials to promote MIB’s strategic objectives.
* Support the Head of Uninsured Driving Prevention with government-level concepts.

Qualifications And Education
Skills and Knowledge
* Experience developing and maintaining product roadmaps, ideally in insurance or financial services.
* Experience managing customers and stakeholders, including delivering presentations to groups and C-suite.
* Experience in developing financial and customer experience-led business cases.
* Understanding of CIE is helpful but not essential.
* Excellent communication skills for articulating complex concepts to broad audiences.
* Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
* Self-reliant, able to work independently.
