Job Description
We are currently working alongside a national housebuilder with a regional office in Hertfordshire looking to hire a Senior Estimator within their pre construction team to support them with the putting together from the initial land purchase and prepare estimators for all prime costs.
Your duties will include;
* Provide information for the land purchase that will allow for clear materials and labour costs to be calculated
* Provide accurate and timely estimates for future developments
* Be confident in presenting these costs to project teams and senior management
* Calculate and present costs on developments within the business including house pricing, labour costs, site work operations and remediation work
* Work closely with their land, technical and site teams
* Update schedule of quantities.
Ideal candidates will have:
* Strong experience within the housebuilding sector in the UK
* Strong knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC and Health & Safety requirements
* IT proficient
* Knowledge of COINS.
