A well-regarded secondary school located in the High Peak is looking to appoint a Science Teacher to start as soon as possible. The school is flexible in terms of specialism (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) and welcomes applications from both ECTs and experienced teachers.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and practical science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
* Plan and mark lessons in line with departmental policies.
* Support students with varying levels of ability and confidence.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Science department.
* Participate in departmental enrichment activities and science fairs.
Requirements:
* QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Specialism in one of the sciences: Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
* Ability to teach across the full science curriculum at KS3 and to GCSE level.
* Strong classroom presence and behaviour management.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
