15. JOB RELATED KNOWLEDGE, APTITUDES AND SKILLS
Essential:
16. Knowledge of the primary curriculum which has been effectively applied with successful outcomes.
17. Proven ability to employ a range of teaching strategies appropriate to differing abilities and needs
18. Successfully able to implement a variety of methods of classroom organisation in relation to behaviour management.
19. An ability to successfully evaluate and record pupil performance with reference to the requirements of the National Curriculum with regard to assessment in the appropriate Key Stages
20. An ability to demonstrate cross-curricular skills, themes and dimensions in teaching
21. An ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with a wide variety of audiences
22. Proven ability to employ a range of classroom management skills
23. An ability to plan and evaluate effectively
Desirable:
24. Knowledge of relevant community languages – Arabic, Somali, Urdu, Gujarati, Romanian
