Childrens Home Weeley is recruiting for Senior Residential Support Workers. We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and passionate people to become an integral part of our support team. In this role, you will support our young people and be responsible for providing compassionate care. This role also involves supporting the Registered Manager to run a successful staff team and oversee the day-to-day operation of the home.

About the service
We are a 5 bedded home for Children who have emotional and/or behavioural difficulties (EBD). Aspris Children’s Service is registered to accommodate 5 young people aged between 8 and 18 years old, including all genders. We offer young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties a supportive and nurturing environment.
Due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving licence is required.
Role and responsibilities
As a Senior Residential Support Worker you will:
* Support the young people and provide compassionate care during your time with them
* Support the Registered Manager to run the staff team and oversee the day-to-day operation of the home
Qualifications and experience
A Level 3 Qualification in Children’s Residential and Childcare is essential, along with previous experience within a residential childcare setting. You will also demonstrate values suitable for residential childcare and be prepared to undertake comprehensive training and development.

Salary and notice
Please note, the advertised salary is calculated on the rate of £14.60–£14.75 per hour, plus an average of 6 sleep-ins per month at £55 per sleep-in.
