Overview
CCIS is a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, dedicated to the development of land transport solutions. We offer complete and integrated logistics solutions with high added value, adapted to customer needs throughout the supply chain: storage, picking, kitting, processing of packaged goods, post-manufacturing and loading and unloading. This is a fantastic opportunity to join CCIS as a Class 1 Driver, based out of Tilbury.
Your Role
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* Class 1 Driver
* Planning delivery routes
* On occasions, helping to load and unload goods
* Ensuring loads are safely secured
* Following traffic reports and adjusting routes as necessary
* Completing delivery paperwork
* Complete daily vehicle checks (oil, tyre and brake)
* Adhere to Drivers hours rules and regulations at all times while maintaining clear and effective communications with the Transport office to enable efficient route planning
* Possible extended periods away from home, including overnight stays when required
* Most time will be spent on the road driving day and night in various weather conditions
Qualifications
* Class 1 license
* CPC
* ADR, desirable but not essential

Health & Safety
* Responsible for ensuring local Health and Safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure own safety and the safety of others
