Academics are seeking an experienced Chef Manager to join a busy school kitchen in the Dartford area. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by delivering nutritious, high-quality meals to pupils and staff.
Key Details:
* Location: Dartford, Kent
* Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour (agency position)
* Start Date: Immediate
* Requirements: Must hold a current Enhanced DBS
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the day-to-day running of the school kitchen
* Manage and motivate the catering team
* Plan, prepare and serve healthy and balanced meals
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and allergen regulations
* Manage stock, budgets, and supplier orders
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Chef Manager or similar role in a school or catering environment
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergen management
* Enhanced DBS (essential)
* Up to date Safeguarding Training
