We seek a senior Interaction Designer contractor to join our global client in the UK for government projects - working out the best way to let users interact with services, in terms of both overall flow and at the level of individual design elements.
* Contract role (Inside IR35) via Dexian UK - Duration: up to 2 years with potential for further extension
* Remote role - with occasional business travels
* Full-time assignment
* Possession of an Active SC clearance is required
Responsibilities:
* Establishing requirements, designing alternatives, prototyping designs, and evaluating prototypes.
* Work with service managers and programme directors to develop design concepts.
* Have responsibility across complex services.
* Help set direction and embed good practice within teams.
* Make important decisions based on research and understand how this research impacts others.
Requirements:
* Relevant interaction designer work experience.
* Ability to clearly explain complex problems and ideas to teams or stakeholders outside of design.
* Experience in documenting and communicating design decisions, related risks and any unresolved issues.
* Proficiency in designing inclusive, accessible and environmentally sustainable content or services.
* Ability to shape design, identify and create new design patterns and components.
