Locations: Bristol | London | Manchester | Glasgow
Sectors: Fire Safety | Building Engineering | Design Consultancy
We're currently supporting a leading consultancy with multiple new openings for Fire Engineers at all levels, from Engineer through to Associate Director, across their key regional offices.
This is a rare opportunity to join an industry-renowned fire engineering team delivering some of the most complex and high-profile projects in the UK (and occasionally overseas), working both as part of multi-disciplinary design teams and on specialist fire safety projects independently.
The Opportunity:
You'll be part of a progressive, technically excellent team that places real emphasis on innovation, training, and professional development – from cutting-edge fire modelling and research projects to world-first CLT fire tests and regular in-house development sessions.
Expect to be involved in:
* Designing and delivering high-level fire safety strategies and modelling
* Working with advanced tools: evacuation modelling, smoke and heat flow analysis, structural fire modelling
* Representing fire safety in client, design team and site meetings
* Supporting chartership pathways and mentoring junior talent
* Managing technical delivery, resource planning and financials across your projects
We’re keen to speak with people who:
* Have experience in a fire engineering role within the built environment
* Hold a degree in Engineering, Building Services, Physics, Architecture or similar
* Are comfortable working with fire modelling tools and analysis software
* Are strong communicators and natural collaborators
* Have (or are working towards) Chartered Engineer status (CEng), which is essential for senior-level roles
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a team with a strong reputation for technical leadership, research, and industry influence, and a culture that genuinely invests in its people.
