Receptionist
Mitie – Community Health Centre Sites
Mitie has an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join our team, supporting Community Health Centre sites for one of our prestigious clients. This is a permanent position, reporting directly to the Operations Manager, and offers the chance to work in a professional, patient-focused environment.
Location
Based primarily on one site, with holiday and sickness cover required across two Community Health Centre sites in Rochdale.
Working Hours
1. Monday only: 08:30 – 16:30 ( + cover holidays and sickness on few other sites in Rochdale area )
Pay Rate
2. Hourly rate: £12.60
The Role
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, patients, and colleagues, playing a key role in delivering a first-class front-of-house service. You will support site operations by ensuring all administrative and customer support activities are carried out efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
3. Deliver a welcoming, professional reception service at all times
4. Support the Service Level Agreement (SLA) by completing all site support tasks effectively
5. Handle customer requests promptly and efficiently
6. Manage internal post and courier deliveries and collections
7. Support emergency evacuation procedures when required
8. Assist with the review and improvement of site procedures and processes
9. Support the creation and maintenance of Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs) for less-abled visitors
What We're Looking For
10. A good understanding of Audio Visual (AV) and IT systems, with the ability to explain these clearly to customers
11. Confident computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
12. A strong understanding of Health & Safety practices
13. A customer-focused approach with the ability to build positive working relationships
14. An enthusiastic, reliable, and conscientious attitude
15. Clear, confident, and professional communication skills
