Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant – Leeds
Salary: £90 – £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, long-term with potential permanent opportunities

The Education Network is working in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school in Leeds to recruit an Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant. This role is ideally suited to a skilled practitioner with a strong background in supporting students with complex needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
The Role: As an Experienced SEN TA, you will:
Provide targeted support for students with a range of additional needs, both 1:1 and in small group settings.
Work closely with SENCOs, teachers, and external professionals to implement tailored interventions and support plans.
Contribute to the development of differentiated learning strategies and resources.
Support students with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and social skills.
Monitor progress, record outcomes, and adapt approaches to ensure positive impact.The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have a proven track record of supporting students with SEN in a school or specialist setting.
Demonstrate excellent knowledge of strategies for supporting children with Autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs.
Possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students and colleagues.
Be confident in adapting classroom practice to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Hold an Enhanced DBS check (or be willing to apply).The School Offers:
