About the Role As our Asset Analyst / PPM Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring that all building systems are safe, compliant and performing at their best, minimising downtime and enhancing the student and stakeholder experience. You will: Act as the Maximo CAFM super user for the contract, training users and keeping asset and work order data accurate, up to date, and compliant. Monitor and manage Reactive, Corrective and Planned Maintenance activity, sending regular performance updates to the engineering teams. Maintain an accurate Asset Register, including condition, age and availability data. Support the Head of Technical Operations with scheduled maintenance, statutory compliance, lifecycle planning and capital works. Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports to support compliance, KPI achievement and client reporting. Raise purchase orders, support stock control, manage suppliers and track quotations. Reassign work orders as needed and follow up on jobs nearing SLA deadlines. Build strong working relationships with contractors, colleagues and the wider Sodexo team. Contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement. For a full list of responsibilities please view the attached job description What We’re Looking For Essential: Experience using CAFM/CMMS/EAMS systems (e.g., Maximo) within maintenance or technical services. Strong administrative and IT skills, with confidence using spreadsheets, databases and Microsoft Office. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload independently. Clear and confident communication skills at all levels. Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure. Knowledge of PPM systems such as SFG20. A proactive team player with strong attention to detail and follow‑through. Flexibility to work across various sites within the Northumbria University estate. Desirable: Innovative mindset with a focus on service improvement. Enthusiastic, collaborative and supportive working style.
