About the role

Ridgeway Primary Academy is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work within our Specialist Resource Provision, The Nest. The Nest accommodates a range of children, with (or awaiting) an EHCP, supporting varying needs including ASC, SEMH and communication and interaction needs. The successful candidate will provide support within one of the three rooms within the Nest. We are looking for someone who:

* Hold an NVQ L2/L3 Qualification or equivalent
* Have a good level of English and Maths skills
* Experience of supporting children with ASC, SEMH or communication & interaction needs would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided

Whilst work will be guided by the teacher, The Nest rooms are in the main TA led, therefore the successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to use their own initiative when required.
