Role Overview:
Apex Hotels seeks an Assistant Night Manager to join the Front Office Team. Reporting to the Night Manager, you will oversee the property's operations during the night. A passion for delivering excellent customer service, initiative, and teamwork are essential. Strong communication skills and staff management experience are key, along with good knowledge of health, safety, and security procedures.
Your responsibilities include ensuring an excellent guest experience while maintaining safety and security throughout their stay.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Be present in the lobby and reception during peak times to support your team.
2. Lead the reception team to deliver exceptional arrival and departure experiences, including regular quality checks.
3. Maintain a safe and secure environment for all hotel colleagues and guests, resolving and reporting issues as needed.
4. Respond to all guest feedback, both positive and negative, and update guest profiles accordingly.
5. Ensure compliance with all Apex financial, privacy, data security, and H&S procedures.
6. Conduct property walkabouts to identify issues requiring attention, including health and safety concerns.
7. Follow all procedures and complete all night tasks.
8. Produce nightly reports.
