This is the perfect opportunity for a nurse who enjoys autonomy, flexibility, and connection with the local community. You won’t be alone in this role! You will be supported every step of the way through an extensive orientation program, you’ll have access to ongoing education, mentoring and training opportunities through our Nurse Unit Managers, Clinical Nurse Educators and other experienced colleagues. Whether you’re building on existing expertise or developing new skills in community nursing, you’ll be part of a workplace that values your growth and encourages your professional development.
Why Guyra Could Be the Place for You
Nestled high on the Northern Tablelands, Guyra offers a truly unique regional lifestyle — crisp air, dramatic seasons, and clear skies. With its strong agricultural roots — think lamb, potatoes, vine-ripened tomatoes, beef, wool — the town celebrates its produce and local community all year round with festivals, markets, and strong community spirit.
Amenities are friendly and accessible — you’ll find cafes, local shops, community clubs, and strong social ties. It’s a place where you can balance meaningful work with a slower pace of life, affordable living, and a genuine connection to people and place.
