Title : Lead Quantity Surveyor - Super Prime Residential
Location : Herefordshire
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + Bonus
An exclusive opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Quantity Surveyor to join a highly regarded super-prime residential developer delivering some of London’s most prestigious private homes and boutique developments.
The successful candidate will take commercial lead across multiple luxury schemes, overseeing all aspects of cost management, procurement, and contract administration from pre-construction through to final account. This role suits someone with a strong eye for detail, a passion for high-end finishes, and the ability to work closely with design, project management, and client teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Full commercial ownership across super-prime residential projects up to £20m in value.
* Manage procurement, tendering, and contract negotiation with specialist subcontractors.
* Lead valuations, variations, and cost reporting throughout project lifecycle.
* Provide accurate forecasting, cost planning, and budget control.
* Liaise with design and delivery teams to ensure financial targets are achieved.
* Support project delivery while maintaining uncompromising standards of quality and detail.
Requirements:
* Minimum 6+ years’ experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally within high-end or super-prime residential projects.
* Proven track record managing costs on bespoke, design-led schemes.
* Degree qualified (Quantity Surveying or related discipline).
* Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
* Confident working closely with clients, architects, and contractors.
