About the Role
You’ll oversee daily activities, manage the yard team, and ensure materials are handled safely and efficiently.
* Supervise day-to-day yard operations
* Oversee loading/unloading of deliveries
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised yard
* Manage stock levels and material handling
* Coordinate shipping & receiving
* Inspect equipment and report maintenance issues
* Train and support team members
* Assist with manual handling when required
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in a builders merchant or warehouse yard
* Strong team leadership & communication skills
* Good knowledge of health & safety procedures
* Physically fit (heavy lifting involved)
* Organised and able to work under pressure
* Experience with stock systems/WMS (advantage)
Hours
* Week 1: Mon–Fri 07:30–17:00
* Week 2: Mon–Fri 07:30–17:00 + Sat 08:00–12:00
