Permanent Lead Veterinary Surgeon West Bridgford Nottingham

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a practice in Bridgford Nottingham in a leadership role. This is a newly built practice which is purpose built offering a modern and spacious working environment.
This is a full time position working 4 days per week with no weekends or OOH.
The Lead Vet will be responsible for ensuring the best standard of Veterinary care is delivered to all patients, the daily running of the practice and leading the team. They will also have clinical duties in the form of routine surgeries and consultations and examinations.
The role offers exciting ongoing development opportunities with support for certificates and future branch partner role.
Other duties will include:
* They Vet will manage the financial budget and performance of the practice.
* The Vet will ensure that all legal compliance is followed.
* The Vet will provide mentoring and guidance to all team members.
* The Vet will assist in recruitment for the practice.
Skills required for the role:
* The Vet will be comfortable in performing routine and complex surgeries.
* The Vet will have a high level of experience both in consultations and surgeries.
* The Vet will have experience in emergency veterinary care.
* The Vet will have excellent communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team.
* The Vet will be organised, be able to work under pressure and be able to problem solve and handle complex cases.
* The Vet will build strong client relationships and collegue relationships.
* They Vet will ensure that the practice maintains a harmonious, positive and support practice culture.

Package:
* Salary: Salary up to £70,000 pro rata - commensurate to experience
* Holiday allowance: 5 weeks plus bank holidays pro rata
* Certificates funded and supported
* CPD: £1500 - 3 days to attend
