Salary: £23,040 per annum + benefits
Hours per week: 35h

As a Retail Manager, you will support your team to encourage sales, deliver excellent customer service, and maintain high standards of store presentation and stock management.
Your responsibilities include:
* Leading store operations with energy and vision to create a memorable shopping experience.
* Applying your eye for design and style to showcase donated products through effective visual merchandising, feature displays, and attractive windows to boost sales and foot traffic.
* Staying informed about fashion trends and local market demands to identify growth opportunities.
* Managing staff and volunteers, including recruiting, training, supporting, and leading them to ensure smooth store operations.
* Engaging with customers and coaching volunteers and staff to have meaningful conversations, encourage donations, and promote our loyalty scheme.
* Meeting sales targets and managing costs within budgets.
* Handling financial reporting, cash management, daily banking, and security procedures.
* Processing donated goods according to standards and pricing them in line with charity guidelines.
Key criteria:
* Solid retail experience, preferably in fashion or clothing.
* Experience in team management; volunteer management is advantageous.
* Understanding of retail merchandising and display techniques.
* Experience with cash handling and financial procedures, including sales records.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first approach.
* Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
* Knowledge of health and safety procedures in retail.
