About the Job
Our centre operates 7 days per week between 8am‑8pm. We are looking for permanent ACPs, either part‑time or full‑time, to work as part of a team at Brighton Station Health Centre. You will provide autonomous, unscheduled medical care for patients presenting with acute, undifferentiated, or long‑term conditions, within clinical guidelines, policies and procedures, while exercising expert judgment and prescribing in accordance with professional standards.
Responsibilities
* Provide autonomous, unscheduled medical care and management for patients presenting with acute undifferentiated or undiagnosed conditions, complex health needs and/or long‑term conditions.
* Work within and outside clinical guidelines, policies and procedures when necessary, exercising expert judgment.
* Prescribe responsibly, ensuring medicines management meets professional and Practice Plus Group standards.
* Collaborate with urgent care patients in the walk‑in centre and registered patients in the GP service.
* Work in a 7‑day‑per‑week outpatient environment between 8am‑8pm.
Qualifications
* Advanced Nurse / Clinical Practitioner (ACP or ANP), with relevant prescribing rights.
* Experience in urgent care or GP practice settings preferred.
* Strong diagnostic and clinical skills for unscheduled care.
* Ability to work autonomously, exercising expert judgment within clinical guidelines.
